Mumbai: Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor is being honoured by the Russin Government for his contribution to cinema. We all know the relation between Kapoor’s and Russia.
A twin event that takes place on 9th and 10th November in Moscow and Vladikavkaz respectively, it has been put together in conjunction with a NGO called ‘Routes 2 Roots’.
Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor missed out on the premier of his son Ranbir Kapoor’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
The highlight of the event would be the citation and diploma that Rishi Kapoor would receive for his efforts over the years.
Talking about the Russian honor, Rishi Kapoor says, “Obviously, I am quite happy with Russian Government recognizing me for my work over the years.”
He says further, “It has been a long journey for me spread across four decades. An award like this only keeps the actor in me alive and kicking.”
